Manager, Tax
A client-facing tax leadership role responsible for managing engagements, supervising staff, and translating complex tax matters into practical guidance.

- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client engagements, maintaining effective communication and strong professional relationships.
- Supervise and review work performed by staff associates, providing coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Assist in planning engagement timelines, budgets, and staffing needs in coordination with firm management.
- Stay current on federal and state tax developments and translate them into practical guidance for clients.
- Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities, risks, and technical issues to partners, with recommended solutions.
- Demonstrate commitment to firm values, teamwork, and client service excellence.
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in tax accounting, public accounting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA or EA required.
- Strong federal and multi-state tax knowledge across business and/or individual returns.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excited about innovation with AI in the public accounting space.

Senior Manager, Tax
A senior tax leadership role focused on portfolio ownership, technical excellence, engagement economics, people development, and tax practice improvement.

- Own a portfolio of complex client relationships across business and individual tax, serving as the trusted advisor clients turn to first.
- Review and sign off on federal and multi-state returns, ensuring technical accuracy and proactive planning across all engagements.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Lead engagement economics, including pricing, scoping, budgeting, and realization, and hold accountability for portfolio profitability.
- Stay current on federal and state tax developments and translate them into practical guidance for clients.
- Identify and drive tax planning and consulting opportunities, including structuring, transactions, and multi-year strategies.
- Demonstrate commitment to firm values, teamwork, and client service excellence.
- Lead adoption of firm technology initiatives and contribute to process improvement across the tax department.

Audit Manager
A hands-on audit leadership role managing engagements from planning through wrap-up while coaching teams and improving audit delivery.
Responsibilities and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution of audit, review, and compilation engagements, including employee benefit plan audits, across planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up phases, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with professional standards.
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of audit seniors and staff, providing timely feedback and on-the-job training to support their technical and professional development.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships with client management and accounting personnel and proactively addressing engagement issues as they arise.
- Apply technical expertise in applicable accounting, auditing, review, and compilation standards to evaluate complex accounting matters, engagement findings, and financial statement disclosures.
- Identify and assess engagement risks and design appropriate engagement procedures to address those risks in coordination with engagement partners and senior managers.
- Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards prior to partner review.
- Champion the use of evolving audit technology, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance audit quality, improve efficiency, and uncover deeper insights for clients; contribute to the development and refinement of best practices for their use across the practice.
- Communicate engagement progress, findings, and recommendations to client management and the engagement team, preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Identify opportunities to expand services to existing clients and contribute to business development efforts through networking and relationship building.
- Assist with engagement budgeting, billing, and realization, ensuring sound financial management of assigned engagements.
- Participate in firm initiatives, including recruiting, training, and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; master's degree in accounting a plus.
- Active CPA license required.
- 5 to 7 years of progressive public accounting experience across audit, review, and compilation engagements, including employee benefit plan audits.
- Strong technical knowledge of applicable accounting, auditing, review, and compilation standards.
- Experience serving clients across a variety of industries and entity types.
- Proficiency with audit software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools; willingness and enthusiasm to embrace AI-enabled audit technology and contribute to evolving best practices.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a client-focused, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Audit Senior Manager
A senior assurance leadership role overseeing engagement quality, client relationships, team development, business development, and audit practice strategy.

- Oversee a portfolio of audit, review, and compilation engagements concurrently, including employee benefit plan audits, serving as the primary point of accountability for engagement quality, timeliness, profitability, and overall client satisfaction.
- Act as a key client relationship owner, serving as a trusted advisor to senior client management, audit committees, and boards on complex accounting, reporting, and internal control matters.
- Lead complex engagements and resolve highly technical accounting, auditing, and reporting issues, exercising professional judgment in consultation with engagement partners.
- Mentor, develop, and evaluate audit managers and senior staff, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture and supporting career progression across the team.
- Drive business development activities, including identifying expansion opportunities within the existing client base, leading proposal efforts for new clients, building referral networks, and representing the firm in the marketplace.
- Define and champion best practices for incorporating evolving audit technology, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools into engagement methodology; lead practice-wide adoption, training, and continuous improvement to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of audit innovation.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the audit practice, including service line development, talent strategy, and operational initiatives that drive growth and profitability.

- Demonstrated track record of business development, client relationship management, and team leadership.
- Deep technical knowledge of applicable accounting, auditing, review, and compilation standards across multiple industries.
- Proven ability to lead the adoption of audit technology, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools, and to develop best practices in an evolving technology environment.
- Strong executive presence with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
